Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Accorda Music-Thanatology Institute

Are you an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment? Accorda Music-Thanatology Institute is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Program Director and help ensure the smooth operation of our Music-Thanatology Training and Certification Preparation Program.

This is a remote, part-time position requiring approximately 10 hours per week, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and supporting the educational initiatives of the program. You will work closely with the Program Director, students, and mentors to ensure the seamless execution of program activities.


Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports on behalf of the Program Director.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Work with the learning management platform, Thinkific, to support program operations.

Communication and Coordination

  • Assist in preparing syllabuses, evaluations, student progress reports, and other program communications.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the Program Director, faculty, and mentors.

Project Management

  • Support program initiatives, such as internship prerequisites and affiliation agreements, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in drafting correspondence and reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Mailchimp, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exhibit professionalism, and demonstrate commitment to the mission and values of the nonprofit school.
