Sara completed the Music-Thanatology Training Program at Lane Community College in 2011. She pursued and received certification through the Music-Thanatology Association International (MTAI) in 2012. From 2012-2020 she served as music-thanatologist for PeaceHealth Medical Centers and Hospices in Eugene, Springfield, and Florence, Oregon.
