Sulis Cerddeu, RN, CM-Th

Sulis served on the faculty of the Lane Community College Music-Thanatology Training, from 2007-2015, and she had an independent hospice practice as a certified music-thanatologist in Oregon, from 2003-2018.

In addition to a long history as an registered nurse in Maternal Health, Adolescent Health Care, Public Health and Elder Care (from 1963-2008), Sulis is a co-founder of SacredFlight, a private music-thanatology practice in Portland, OR (in 2001). Sulis certified through the Chalice of Repose School of Music-thanatology, Missoula, MT in 2000, and later with the Music-Thanatology Association International (MTAI).

She did course work in music, education, and humanities at Marylhurst University and Portland State University 1981-1989, and received a Certificate of Bible from Multnomah University in 1964. She is a graduate of Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, RN Diploma, 1962.
